Being someone not quite familiar with Recover, I gave their new album a listen anyways. I've heard some of their earlier works, but never really quite took a liking to them. Nevertheless, I can say for sure that these tunes are some of their most accessible to date. Clean sung vocals accompanied by a nice array of thunderous guitars, crashing drums, and hypnotic bass lines set the norm throughout the record.

Opening with "Simple," the one thing that stood out to me was the intro, having an almost electronic/ambient feel to it followed by the rock, naturally. "Night of the Creeps" is a nice hard hitting tune with some killer guitar licks in the middle of the song. "Fuck Me For Free" is a rockin' tune, the sing-along chorus accompanied by the groove of the verses really set this track apart from the others. Other notable songs are "Crashed," "Don't Let Love Pass Us By," and the closer "Disappear."

This is a very strong record, with countless songs that could be potential hits. The variety of tracks are few and far between though. All follow the same sound and structure, that's the only downfall of this disc. But, if you're looking for a fun, consistent rock album, this is definitely worth checking out.
