Here they are back again with their third full length. They haven't become overly popular, but I'm sure a good amount of people know, have heard of, or have seen Limp at one of the shows they have gone to. Nearly three years to the day since their last full length came out (Feb 23rd, 1999). This Bay Area (San Francisco) four piece has toured constantly since the release of their last album. Almost 2 years of touring the US, Canada, and a trip to Japan. Their self titled effort contains 11 songs of the most mature pop songs that Limp have ever written.

This album starts off amazingly, had me bobbing my head like one of those bobble head dolls before the vocals even started. Very catchy pop-punk reminiscent of the Honest Dons sound I always talk about when I'm refering to many pop-punk bands. I have to say Honest Dons has but almost set the standard for the pop-punk sound. Some leaks to Fat Wreck but they tend to stick with the harder stuff. The first song is 'Oh No' which can be downloaded from the mp3 section. This song gets you geared up for the rest of the album...starts off with an eerie guitar echo and goes into a catchy beat, kicks in some bass line along with a damn catchy guitar riff and gets into full swing. I actually think this is my favorite song on the album. This whole album is filled with catchy riffs, hooks, and pop-punk at its best. I remember hearing Limp awhile back when they played a local show and I was definately not impressed, I think I actually went as far as to say they sucked...but man, what a difference 3 years make. They have definately matured into a damn good pop-punk band...and if this album is any indication

I think they could be rocking into your town very soon.

Bottom Line:
