Let me start by saying I really admire one thing about this album before I placed it into my cd player. All the songs are slower yet different and unique using different music elements, I guess kind of more emo influenced. What I really liked about these guys is the fact that their song titles reflect the whole concept behind the name of their album. Be a Criminal. The song titles tell a story within themselves, along with following an overall theme of crimes and the lyrics reflect that on this album.

I dont know, I just found it pretty damn clever to have everything tie in, even though it shows no relevance. This album comes across as being very dark sounding especially with its theme..I have never heard past Garrison albums but this one is claimed to be the best to date. They got a new drummer for this album and it supposidely shows a different side to them as a band. It really reminds me of say some more mainstream yet still eerie and dark bands such as Radiohead or Coldplay or something of that nature.

Never again will I like this mix of musical styles this much, but this album seems to keep finding its way into my cd player which I find very weird, maybe I'm changing my ways..but I'd bet this album is just that good that it makes me want to listen to it..and try to understand whats going on.
