Calling all hardcore fans with next to no attention span. For The Worse have arrived. That’s right, 18 A.D.D. tinged tracks from this Boston unit. These guys sound like hardcore used to sound like back when the movement was just beginning.
As I’ve already mentioned, Chaos Continues is full of short, blink-and-it’s-over anthems that sound like they came out of 1982. You won’t find any crooning, mascara, or an ounce of fashion on these guys. True to their roots, their lyrics range from juvenile to political. And it’s all done in 50 words or less. There is no such thing as watered down when it comes to this record.
This album will, I’m sure not even make it on to most people’s radar. And if it does, it’s one of those love or hate things. Hardcore fans will appreciate this straight up old skool effort, but most will surely find a lot of noise.
