Endless Hallway have been on the cusp of hitting the mainstream for quite some time now. Their biggest problems were that they only had demos under their belt and they hadn't toured quite enough to gain recognition.. They had excellent songs, but they only hinted at the potential they possessed. Now, with Autonomy Games, Endless Hallway has shown just what they're capable of producing.
Endless Hallway has seamlessly crafted an album absolutely bubbling with originality but also with a conventionality that will appeal to post-hardcore fans all around. Perhaps the most exciting prospect of Autonomy Games is the repeated listening that it invites with its intricate and artful sound. In a time such as this, with so much bland music oversaturating every scene imaginable, it's truly inspiring to see music in need of unraveling.
Sonically, this album is nothing short of impressive. Especially notable is the incredible drumming by Joe Mullen. His fills, particularly in the band's first single, "Solvency," are nothing short of awe-inducing. Ryan Jackson's vocals are loud and confident, and they compliment the band's boldness very well. Even so, in a slow, dusky song like "Remora," Jackson is able to soften his powerful voice and create a dreamy, introspective harmony.
It often takes a band a release or two to truly define themselves and grow comfortable with their sound, but Endless Hallway sound self-assured and ready for what's next. They have, without a doubt, put a lot of time into creating their sound. That hard work has paid off with Autonomy Games, and listeners everywhere are all the better for it. With a work ethic like theirs, and confidence to boot, there's no telling just where this band will go.

That's what I thought. Now I'll definitely go pick this up. I think it's only $8.99 or $9.99 at Target.

Yeah man, I'm with you. It's not bad but I can't get into it.

First song on this is great - there should be more tracks like that on here. "Solvency" reminds me of another song by a band I can't quite recal. I'm sure they've ripped it of someone.
