Lets take this review back to the oldschool days. AFI their first release, Answer that and Stay Fashionable, is one of my favorite AFI albums. From the songs, you can tell that this band was just starting to experience life. They still lived with their parents..."I Wanna Get A Mohawk (but my mom wont let me). This albums blends fast punk with anthem lyrics. Any rebelious teen could relate to this album. I first heard it from a mix tape of baunch's and the tunes just stuck in my head. So I went searching for the album and ended up finding it. "Dont make me Ill" instantly caught my attention with its rebellious lyrics and punk you can jump to. The lyrics go... "no ones gonna tell me, I'm gonna do it my way, no ones gonna tell me how to get it done. No ones gonna tell me NO!" "High School Football Hero" is also a message that I am sure many people think, me being one of them. If you have ever seen "Varsity Blues" you can understand this song, or hell...if you went to high school. "I wanna drink my weight in beer..." this is exactly how football players are, they are always the cool guys because they play sports...sofuckem like AFI says. This CD is a whole lot of agression I am sure every fan of punk music understands. These guys may have been a young group, but they sure as hell know how to rock, which makes this CD one of my favorites, I can listen to it over and over again.

Very nice album, especially as their first release, and they keep getting better. Not all the songs are it are extremely impressive.
