Just in time for Halloween AFI releases a little extra this year, for you to hand out to your punk trick-or-treaters. I've become a big fan of AFI since their last release.
This EP features four songs that are AFI at their best. Three of AFI's own creations and a cover song from the Misfits "Halloween." The EP starts off with "Fall Children" a slow riff with an almost mysterious tone, then explodes into hardcore. Davey as a lyricist is amazing, his energy he puts forth into each song, makes the songs. The songs are meant to be chilling, and you can see that in some part of each song. "The Boy Who Destroyed the World" starts off fast paced and just keeps the intensity. Davey spitting out lyrics and the background vocals add some depth to the song. "Totalimmortal" starts out with a dope bass line, and beat...and then just rocks. This EP has a limited press run of 1000 copies so if you would like to experience some great punk music you had better order soon. There are also limited edition Orange Vinyl 7" which is a collectors item, but there isn't many left. I say checkthis EP out, its very worth the $4 you'll pay for it. Order Here, at Nitro Records
Great EP for $4.
