In a lot of these shots it looks like both the band and the crowd are equally disinterested in the set. I get the feeling this was a pretty boring show.
It wasn't at all... you have to keep in mind a few things:
They are normally a full band, but half of their band stayed behind with their stuck (and broken trailer) in the snow up in PA. This Providence and The Swellers had to cancel the night before because they were all still badly stuck. The Swellers made it out and were able to make this NC show, and took these two dudes from This Prov.
Set Your Goals was the headliner, it was an off date of the Motion City Soundtrack tour. So a band like This Providence is better suited with MCS to be around.
The crowd was honestly very much into it, good amount of people were singing along.
