I can't see how this album won't crack my top 10. It needs to leak soon! Or Facedown needs to send me a promo.....

Also, even if I had never heard of Everything in Slow Motion, the second Lindskog's vocals came out of the speakers, money started falling out of my wallet.

Who is that guy and who is this band?

I'm not sure if this is as good as Hands' last album, given that that album was perfect, but Phoenix definitely gives Give Me Rest a run for its money. Unbelievably good. And outside of the two guest vocal spots, Shane did EVERYTHING again, which is just ridiculous. Dude's gotta be one of the top solo artists out there right now.

I'll have a review of this album up at some point. I think musically I like it a bit more than Give Me Rest, but the concept is not quite as easy to relate to (but it is relateable) as Give Me Rest. So... still amazing :-)

Pretty close to my opinion (ha, that means you're right). Looking forward to your review. This dude needs some press. Two ridiculously good albums in a row going mostly unnoticed is a crime.

I think this release has bad timing (after most year-end lists are complete/due), which will probably diminish its impact. Otherwise, there is no reason why everyone shouldn't dig this album.

Ya this album is very good. My preferences as of late are definitely not along this style, but god damn it is so good. Especially that last track with those beautiful female vocals interspersed.
