In an interesting interview over at Fader, Trent Reznor talks about everything under the sun and makes some astute observations about the changing musical scene and how electronics have evolved in their usage over time.
Man, great interview. Obviously, his final comment, about not growing a beard and writing fake folk music, was the most satisfying. Really digging his newest right now, too. Nothing's going to top Downward Spiral for me, most likely, but I'm enjoying Hesitation Marks as much as anything else he's done since then.
Good interview. He'll always be a real talented, amazing artist. He has some real insight and deep layers of humanity in his words/actions. This is the end though. Trent Reznor and I have parted ways. He's no longer capable of putting out anything great and I don't have the time for mediocre, mundane Reznor.
