It's that time again. It seems lately that we have been just bombarded with albums and show requests that we need to bring on new blood to the site. If you have a passion (and I mean a passion) for music, we want you to join our team.
We are currently looking for reviewers that have vast knowledge in the following genres: metal, hardcore, pop, rock, and indie. Although the genres listed are pretty vague, we want the individual to have knowledge in all aspects of the respected genre.
We are also looking for people to do interviews. You must have a great attention to detail, because if you can't come up with questions that actually make the interview interesting, you won't even get to do the interview. Bands out there are tired of getting asked the same questions over and over. So you must be on top of your game when it comes to doing research for the interview.

It should be noted that, albeit it's only a few dollars per review, we do pay our reviewers. you will also be mailed a albums you review and if you stick around will receive advance links to records no one else has yet. also you will have access to getting on guest lists for shows/festivals and other music related benefits. we'll take care of you as best we can for writing for us.

I'll pray you guys get what you need because this site is one of the last few review sites that isn't full of itself.
I have extensive knowledge in all those genres + lots more but I am not good at writing reviews, I wish I could help you.
You guys should set some sort of donation system up so people like me can help in that way.

Why do you say you aren't good at writing reviews? You have opinions, do you not? Compile them into paragraphs and you win.

What's the general expectation as far as reviews per month?

We look to have, if possible, 1 review written a week, but 2 a month (as long as they are turned in timely) would be the minimum minimum.
