It's that time again.  It seems lately that we have been just bombarded with albums and show requests that we need to bring on new blood to the site.  If you have a passion (and I mean a passion) for music, we want you to join our team.

We are currently looking for reviewers that have vast knowledge in the following genres: metal, hardcore, pop, rock, and indie.  Although the genres listed are pretty vague, we want the individual to have knowledge in all aspects of the respected genre.

We are also looking for people to do interviews.  You must have a great attention to detail, because if you can't come up with questions that actually make the interview interesting, you won't even get to do the interview.  Bands out there are tired of getting asked the same questions over and over.  So you must be on top of your game when it comes to doing research for the interview.

Motion City Soundtrack will release "A Lifeless Ordinary" as their next single.

Saves The Day will being mixing their new record, Daybreak, this week.

My Favorite Highway have announced that they are breaking up.

VersaEmerge will be touring this fall with Anarbor, Conditions, and two other bands to be announced.

A Day To Remember will release a new album on October 26th.

Apple had a conference today to announce new iPod shuffle, nano, and touch as well as a new music social network called Ping.  Steve Jobs also showed some love for Paramore during his part of the speech on Ping, playing a song clip and mentioning that they were currently on the Honda Civic Tour.

Neil Young will release his new solo album, Le Noise, on September 28th via Reprise Records.  See comments for the tracklisting.

Lights has just released two remixed songs from her debut full-length album, The Listening, today exclusively on iTunes.  The track "Ice (The Shaken Not Stirred Mix)" has been remixed by English punk rock band Gallows' guitarist Lags and Jamey Jasta of Hatebreed, has entitled his remix "Saviour (Jasta Remix)".  The proceeds from the singles will be donated to The Greater New Orleans Foundation.
