Not as bad as it sounds I don't think but the biggest detractor for me is in your reviews, the RIYL section. I consider myself pretty up to date on bands in general and genres in general, I have over 400 vinyl records and 270,000+ mp3/flac collection spread across 3 hard drives but sometimes I HAVE NO IDEA WHO THE FUCK YOU'RE TALKING ABOUT IN THAT SECTION AND IT IRKS ME TO NO END.

You guys should consider using bands that everyone knows regardless if they listen to said genre or not.

Just my two cents.

Diplomatic answer: Can you throw out a few examples? Because just poring over the most recent 4, I've heard of 9/12 bands used. Listened to is a different story. Of the last 6, 15/20.

Glib answer: Then fucking Google them and learn about a new god damned band, jesus christ. Do you not realize how shitty of you it is to say that we should use 100% bands you have heard of? Please, email me your personal spreadsheet of bands you know so I can disseminate them to our writers.
