Been hearing mixed reviews about Lana Del Rey lately... some love her... some hate her because they feel like she was molded with her image... but aren't all pop stars pretty much molded and have a strategy behind their image? Interesting stuff... what do you all think?

Honestly, I've never listened. I just hear she keeps putting on bad performances on big media outlets, and have no desire to listen.

I went into her music wanting to give her the benefit of the doubt, but I found it all pretty boring.  Some of her songs are catchy but not much else.  

I liked Video Games and Blue Jeans (which was the b-side for the former). Tried to listen to her full album, but it just didn't do it for me. Overproduced and not as natural as the previous two songs. If someone with a clear version worked with her, she might turn out something decent.
