Mrivadercho: @decoymusic man that review would totally hurt us if you had any followers or people to read it.... get a job.05/21/10 10:37AMblessthefall: @decoymusic lol at that.

Sadly, I would think that more people attend their concerts than our website. I believe the correct terminology for them are "tools".....yes, thats the word we're looking for. Rick, can I get a picture comment.

Haha, I had my own response to this, something along the lines of them being the worst band I had ever heard and that them not being able to handle a Decoy review means that they're failures, and all I got was a "hahaha" back.

A couple of the guys from As Hell Retreats were bitching at us for being "inaccurate" in our review. As Ocho Cinco would say, "Child please!"

I still remember one of the first being My American Heart, then Remember Never, and Hurt, and well.. each one has a special place in my mind as being epic journalism by us, by speaking the truth and not being afraid to let people know how it is.

I say to As Hell Retreats and blessthefall....Quit making ridiculously sub-par albums that intend to conform to your scene. Perhaps the integration of some intelligent musical ideas would stop us from making fun of your records. There's one reason that I'm not a musician: personally I think that I would be over zealous and analytical in my approach to formulating the aspects of my music and wouldn't have fun with the process as a whole because I would stress myself out. If you can't take criticism for shitty and/or overly simplistic music, then don't make it. God....why does this subject make me so volatile.

Respectfully....Its not about their character....or even their moral center....It's specifically about their horrendously mediocre music. This is Decoy "Music" after all, not Deocy Popularity Contest.

that is the only positive thing i could think of when I think of this band. And this band is a bunch of tools even if they are nice.

Truth....I met A Plea For Purging one time after a BTBAM concert at Rockettown, in Nashville. They were very kind fellows, but i didn't have the heart to tell them that their live show was like watching a pack of walruses during the height of mating season while subsequently having shards of glass, pop rocks, and coke poured into my ear cannals.  They took Cynic's place at that concert...man I haven't felt that ripped off in a long time.
