This is Decoy's featured stream this week, and I was really surprised to see this band on the site. They're a local band for me, and I've known Dillon, the vocalist, for a couple of years now. They're so local, in fact, that the song Orange High Parking Lot is about the school where I'm currently a senior.

Anyway, I was shocked to see the band on the site, but more shocked in how good they all sound. I think Dillon's voice and lyrics could easily stack up with big label artists and I wouldn't be surprised to hear it on the radio someday. The production on the album was done by Sid Menon from Glass Casket / Yearling, and I think it's really great- The guitars sound crunchy and thick, but light enough to pass on a pop album. Overall, I'm really proud of these guys, and I think you all should give them a listen.
