Band you should like but just....don't
Given your general music taste, other bands you like, recommendations from people who's opinion you respect etc what band should you like but just haven't been able to get in to?

For me, definitely Meshuggah. That's not at all to say I think they're no good, just that I've never really got them or enjoyed them much. That's probably partly just not having listened enough but even with the best intentions it's not that easy to spend time on an album you just don't like very much. Other bands I like that would maybe indicate I should like Meshuggah would include BTBAM, Misery Signals, The Ocean, Tool.

Currently listening to:
Tetrafusion - Horizons EP
NAMI - Fragile Alignments
Fleshgod Apocalypse - Agony
A Hope For Home - In Abstraction
Blindead - Affliction XXIX II MXMVI

I know there used to be a lot of love for Codeseven on this board, but I could never get into them.

Oh dude. I saw Codeseven with Saosin a long time ago. The music sucked (At least live it REALLY Sucked) And he made the stupidest most over the top O-Face's while singing. I think he might have been getting off to the crowd. Totally turned me off from ever checking them out. I know I'm going to get A LOT of shit for this. But I just can't get into Tool or APC. I love prog(Sorta) hard rock/metal. But I just can't fully enjoy Maynard's music.

I'd have to go with Radiohead as well. Still can't get into them.

Love Jack Johnson, although his new disc is a let down.

My problem with Jack Johnson is that I had to listen to him at my old work for entire 8-hour days. Thinking of him gives me flashbacks. It's terrible.

That too. It was so funny, one of the ladies I worked with would always say "we can play this on guitar with no problem, why aren't we famous?!"

Black Flag. I like Rollins, think he's a rad dude, just can't get into the music as much as I should really. I appreciate everything they've done for hardcore though.

Silent Alarm is so good.
AWITC not so much.
I do like Intimacy a lot though.

For me it's probably Oceansize and Texas is the Reason.
