The Silent Ballet's Third Annual Battle of the Bands!
Hey, I know you guys might be sick and tired of year-end tournaments by now, but just in case you aren't...

The Silent Ballet is proud to hold its third annual Battle of the Bands Tournament. If you have any interest in instrumental music at all (post-rock, electronica, ambient, etc.), we'd be delighted if you participated. And if you want to stick around afterwards, why, that'd just be swell.

You can get more information here.

Some basic info:

The tournament is set up in basically the same way as the Decoy Tournament was, with .xls brackets that you can submit. The highest scoring bracket wins some fabulous prizes!

About half of the entrants were selected based on their position in the TSB top 50 albums article, or the TSB top 25 electronica article. The other half were selected from several pre-tournament grinders which the members of the Silent Ballet forum voted on.

You have to register to the forums in order to vote.

Brackets are due at midnight EST on Sunday, Feb. 3rd. Voting will begin at 12:01 AM (00:01) EST on the morning of Monday, Feb. 4th.

Thanks for reading, and we hope you have a good time!

~Tom

I love the top 50 end of year, and top 25 articles on TBS...wouldn't have discovered Kashiwa Daisuke - Program Music I otherwise, and fuck me it's amazing.
