It really is. I've listened to it 3 or 4 times through so far. I like their last couple of albums, but feel this is more nuanced & atmospheric. I guess it's lighter, certainly not as un-relenting as the way of flesh, but it makes it more interesting for me

I would wholly agree with the couple listens I've gotten in so far.  It's more melodic and a touch more aggressive than the past.  Basically, it's a Gojira album that's more Gojira-er.

Also, that Oddland album is really good.  I reviewed it for my other site.  European metal is on fire.
