Question about a review
Is anyone going to review the new Kittie album?
I know, I'm sure everyone here hates them and thinks they are right up there with limp bizkit in terms of awfulness, but I'd like to see a review. This is not the same band anymore. |

It's not currently slated to be reviewed. It may not be the same band, but it's pretty much the same brand of suck.

Actually, if you go to myspace and listen to their new songs and pretend you've never heard this band before, I think you'd be pleasantly surprised.
Their style has changed in a very interesting way. |

unless this cd was a spoken word album, vehemently apologizing for their past works, I doubt it would be that pleasing.

it was on the review block but then we all realized no one actually got a copy of the album so that may be why it didnt get done.

g-dammit you're my hero. I actually liked Welcome too... and I can guiltily say that I was into Ace of Base, but also plead that it was before my friends gave me a copy of a rock album and my world changed. "These are our lives, but did they ever even matter - are we worth remembering?" |

same here, someone gave me Incesticide and I was hooked, I was 11 or 12... the funny thing is that I listened to Metallica and Suicidal Tendencies but I never got into rock until one of my friends made me a copy of Incesticide. My world changed. Taproot is good but sometimes their lyrics are waaaaaaay too simple. Promise is a nice love song, he tells it like it is, but on the other hand, when you listen to other songs, you wish the lyrics were deeper... I don't know maybe it's just me. EDIT: yay for hijacking! |

You know - I'm kinda funny about that too. Some bands can have the most simplistic lyrics.. and it only be two short verses - and if done well, it makes me happy, but then I find myself bitching when I feel like little to no effort is put in a lot of times too. I guess it's a case by case thing where the amount of authentic feelings behind it play a big factor. Funny you said Incesticide... it was Nevermind that my friend gave me that changed my world. Close enough eh? "These are our lives, but did they ever even matter - are we worth remembering?" |
