Last night I said that He Is Legend was my most dissapointing of the year? That got changed. This shit isn't even listenable...and this is coming from a huge FanBoy. Beneath Medicine Tree is one of my all-time favorite records, and when I reviewed In Motion I gave it a 4, but this isn't even a 2. Boo on The Militia Group for settling for this shit.
Recommending: Anberlin, Interpol, Chamberlain, House of Heroes |

What I have heard so far of this is complete shite. I am one of the few who preferred the direction they went with In Motion--less whiny and more rockin'--but it seems like they reverted to their Beneath style.

I honestly do not see how you guys do not like this album. It is easily their best yet (musically, at least..can't really say it's better than their past two because those are of sentimental value to me)
It's such a departure and they did a damn fine job. Anyone else hear the post-rock influence? The Kid A influence? The regular Copeland sound? |
