So, it looks like Nader is throwing in his hat.

My comment was meant as a not-at-all clever and probably ill-advised but well-intentioned jab not at your views - which are always insightful and knowledgeable and more often than not I agree with them - but rather at the way in which you express them; with that vague air of condescension, as if your way should be the only way. My apologies if these conversational subtleties were misconstrued.

I find that is often the case when I talk about this stuff. I'm still trying to find a way to express this stuff without coming off smug. I really only mean to construe so people know that I know I've done my research and I really believe in Nader. I truly don't mean to sound condescending and recognize I come off that way sometimes via internet posting. Workin on it.

Don't fret none, it's not a big deal (especially since my comments often probably sound just as smug, though I don't mean for them to ... most of the time). Honestly I'd rather have a world full of smug attentive people who want to change things for the better than one brimming with opinionated idiots for whom "research" means occasionally catching The O’Reilly Factor.

Dammit, that probably came off as really condescending to Bill O'Reilly fans. Oh well.

Damn, the republicans are going to be pissed. Who will take the Democrats votes now, if not Ralph ?
