We're up to several a day now! It's impossible to browse the site via recent activity anymore.

With Aaron being completely absent and our site being coded in some stupid-rare language, what are we gonna do about this shit? Because I really can't put up with it any longer.

I'm actively looking into how we can move to a new platform, most likely something powered by a Wordpress back end. So if anyone has any knowledge or expertise in this area and may be interested in assisting, please send me an email. rick at decoymusic.com

Zach, I check for spam and clean Decoy a few times a day. I've cleaned it 4 times in the last 3 days. Hopefully Rick can get us rolling onto the next platform but I'll try to clean this place up as often as I can.

I blame Zach for all this spam. It's his pheremones.

I asked Aaron to get our dev to disable non-Facebook account sign-ups temporarily. That'll keep the spambots from being able to keep creating new accounts. Hopefully that works.

I would be happy to help with tinkering with/redesigning the site. I don't know anything about wordpress, but I do have experience with java, .net, c#, and xhtml/css.

Nice. I have way more understanding of CSS php HTML and would definitely be more motivated to help just time is tough.  i think i lost interest here considering how much it costs to run such a big db site and have been unable to find any raills coders and have no money to change anything at this point.  would love to go back to something easier to customize and navigate,  trying to remove the signup page now to stop the spammers and give us some time to change over to rick so we can keep operating before i run out of money.

Sign up has been removed. Now just need to delete the accounts of the spammer accounts.

We've been doing that as we kill the spam. 

I don't want decoymusic to go away. it's my favourite review site on the whole wide world webs.
