It's been a while since we've had a good beer discussion, and I just started homebrewing (which you can read about by following the link in my sig), so I was wondering if anyone else here has tried brewing their own beer? If so, what styles? How'd they turn out? My first attempt is a Belgian-style tripel ... no idea whether or not it'll be any good though.

I know quite a few people who brew, but I do not myself. Now drinking beer is something I do well, so if you ever feel so inclined to send me a case, I'd give it a good home.

my fiances dad brews, he was giving me the rundown the other day.. think he's in that 20day period where it's settling or whatever he said it does.. ferment maybe?

And Aaron, I'm not sure what the 20 day period is, since fermentation is going on pretty much the whole time ... perhaps he meant that's when the sediment is settling in the bottles?
