I just started using VMWare Workstation and I'm loving it.  Got OpenVPN Access Server installed so I can access my home network from any computer outside my network, also just installed Windows 7 Enterprise.  I definitely need a new computer though, because having all that run and Server 2008 isn't cutting it with 4GB DDR.

I use VMWare player to screw around with Fedora every once in a while. I mean, I have Fedora 11 installed on my computer along with Vista, but I get too lazy to reboot sometimes. And 4GB DDR? How much did that cost, man?

I use VirtualBox on my Mac. Mainly what I'm doing is browser testing. Being able to drop into a native IE6 environment with ease is very useful for a web developer. Occiasionally, I also check out a different OS like Ubuntu or Chrome OS.

I had 2GB DDR installed like 4 years ago.  That cost like $150-170.  And after decided to upgrade to 64-bit, I looked around for my same RAM and it was $120 for 2GB.  It is retarded DDR costs so much.

You can get 4GB DDR3 for like $85.

Yeah dude, that's ridiculous. I assume it's because they don't produce it as much as DDR2 and DDR3 now?

Yeah. I went looking for an upgrade for my Socket939 CPU. It's like $200 to upgrade the CPU from dual core 2.0Ghz to 2.4.

Haha, yeah, I've got an old Athlon X2 sitting around that I can't find a motherboard for. Pretty sure it's a socket 939, too. That'd be a decent machine, too.
