Rod Marinelli-FIRED Romeo Crennel-FIRED Eric Mangini-FIRED Mike Shanahan-FIRED Marinelli and Crennel are no brainers, but damn, how do you fire Mangini after a winning season and Mike Shanahan has won freakin super bowl rings?!?! Insane times in the NFL.

I'm also sort of surprised the Jets let Mangini go. He was a good coach.

I'm not surprised about Mangini at all.... someone had to take the fall for some seriously questionable offensive play calling this season. As for Shanahan, I think he did what he could this year with what he had. On the plus side, there might finally be a useful Denver RB for fantasy purposes next year under a new coach.

Yeah, Shanahan was kind of odd. Denver had a lot of injuries to contend with and for having such a porous defense, I'm surprised they did as well as they did this year. What would be sweet is if the Vikes could somehow dump Childress and pick up Shanahan. That would be killer.
