Vuvuzela (ex-Kiss Kiss) are much less annoying than their namesake. Actually, they're pretty damn listenable. With a bombastic, carnival sideshow kind of sound composed of harp, upright bass, piano and organ, Vuvuzela pick up where Kiss Kiss left off and place themselves somewhere in the sonic intersection of Beirut and Forgive Durden. Obtuse and off-kilter, ambitious, yet catchy and fun, Vuvuzela's debut The Hollow Choir promises to be one of the more unique offerings this year.

I still remember that year we had the Album of the Year brackets.Kiss Kiss went up against Kaddisfly and had a massive fan turnout blow up the voting to take down Kfly-- site regulars were pisssssssed.
