Don't let the fact that Made Do and Mend is on Rise Records fool you. They're not some trendy metalcore band and they haven't transformed into one either. Instead Make Do and Mend continue to play their brand of throwback post-hardcore (or, dare I say it, emo) on their sophomore effort, Everything You Ever Loved. They'll tug at every nostalgic fiber in your body, giving you hints of Jimmy Eat World, Hot Water Music, and even a bit of Alexisonfire. This album could easily turn into your soundtrack for the summer.

They were good before, but this new album has brought them to another level.
Great band! It was awesome to see them in action last year.
I think that because they've toned back their aggressiveness, I am less enamored about this new album than I was for 'End Measured Mile'.
