Misser

Saying a pop-punk band is "heartfelt" and "honest" is like describing the ocean as "salty" and "full of seamen," but in the case of Misser, it's all about their pedigree. As the side project of Transit's Tim Landers and This Time Next Year's Brad Wiseman, two bands who already hearken back to pop-punk's glory days, Misser is basically heartfelt-and-honest-squared. With gorgeous guitar lines and a dual-vocal approach to storytelling, on Every Day I Tell Myself I'm Going to Be A Better Person, Landers and Wiseman invoke just about everything we all love from the genre in just shy of 40 minutes.

These guys are great. Tunes are catchy and the lyrics constantly get stuck in my head.
