Coming straight from our Facebook wall, this week's featured artist is To Speak of Wolves. After their lacklustrous debut on Solid State, many readers might be inclined to skip right over the band's follow-up Find Your Worth, Come Home, but at least bend an ear for a few tracks. With all their heaviness intact, To Speak of Wolves have gussied up their melodic hardcore side, tapping more recent Underoath albums, maybe a little As Cities Burn in songs like "Oregon." Whereas their first album felt stock and rigid, the band have opened up their sound and brought a little variety to a formula which had gotten stale quickly on Myself < Letting Go.

Their new album really surprised me. I dig their mix of late-era Underoath and The Chariot.

Their first album was decent for what it was. Their new album is also decent for what it is... a slab of Underoath (Define the Great Line era) worship. I'll probably end up listening to this at least a few times. I great to appreciate their first album more as time went on.
