Invalids

Mike D and I would like to introduce the privileged readers of Decoy Music to quite possibly the best new math rock act on the planet: Invalids. The Oregonian/Pennsylvanian duo play a blazing brand of finger-incinerating math rock that is completely accessible and downright fun to listen to for even the most casual of listeners. Their debut full-length Eunoia is not unlike Maps & Atlases on fast forward. If you like your music intelligent, angular, and intricate, Invalids are finger-tappin' good.

You are an asshole. I'm glad you dig it. Everyone here on Decoymusic should check these guys out. As Zach had said, "This is like math rock nirvana."

It's like... Maps & Atlases meets Sunny Day Real Estate.

Can't say its something I would listen to on a regular basis or that I particularly like, sound-wise. But I gotta give it to these guys on how this was executed. Pretty impressive, especially having never met one another in person.
