Colour Revolt released their sophomore album, The Cradle, last week and has continued to turn heads with their passionate blend of indie rock. Since their debut they have been on somewhat of a downward turn as they lost their recording contract with Fat Possum, lost their members, yet Jesse and Sean continued on and managed to recapture the essence they had on their first record while assembling a band that sounds like they'd been playing together for years. The band hired Daniel Davidson (ex-Norma Jean) on drums and former Whigs bassist Hank Sullivan to play bass and produce. The Cradle is beautiful and definitely an album you need to hear.

Just happened to look on these guys myspace yesterday and found out they were playing in my town so I checked it out. Tight as hell. First time seeing them in about 3 years.
