Jimmy Gnecco (Ours) has released his solo debut album this week, The Heart, and it has a special place in our heart (there we go again) here at DecoyMusic.com. Stripped down, emotionally charged, and beautiful are three of the easiest ways to propose you check out this album immediately. Gnecco has absolutely managed to create an epic album here with most of it being him and his acoustic guitar. As our writer Jeremy Deal so perfectly puts it "Gnecco deftly addresses love, loss, longing, and the eventual moving on without making any real missteps." Grab this as soon as you can.

Is it just me, or is the term "stripped down" usually synonymous with boring?
can often be, yeah, but then again - I've heard some stuff touted as "stripped down" that really just makes my favorite parts stand out that much more... just depends on who it is...
