Eagle Scout is a five piece ambient/indie band from Greenville, Illinois.  Drawing strict comparisons to some greats in the genre such as Minus The Bear and Piebald this band fits right in the middle of the two bands and manage to separate themselves enough to keep their sound fresh and catchy.  The band will release their Cavity Records debut tomorrow, New Hands, and with it they bring a tantalizing mix of melody and soothing sounds.  The album is full of strong harmonies and otherwise positive moods that will leave fans of the post-indie/rock genre very pleased as one of the first solid releases in the genre this year.
