Get ready for one of the best up-and-coming bands in the metalcore genre this year. Bury Tomorrow have burst onto the scene with their new album Portraits and bring with it a metalcore fury I feel has been lacking in recent years. Taking parts from Killswitch Engage, Atreyu, and Still Remains, Bury Tomorrow deliver a fresh and brutal sound that will please metalcore fans worldwide. Their punishing assault of riffage mixed in with spectacular clean vocals helps their sound be distinct enough to stand out from an otherwise over-populated genre in recent years. These eleven songs must be blasted at deafeaning levels to get the full effect but take my word for it, you're about to fall in love with a new band. The new album hit stores October 12th and should be bought, downloaded, or stolen right now.

Too much Iron Maiden rots the brain.

As much as I used to like Atreyu, they've become a parody of themselves these days. Portraits is what the last Atreyu record should've sounded like. Definitely deserving of a feature.

I played with these guys back in September. Pretty decent guys as well.
