Between The Buried And Me have returned with one of the most anticipated releases of 2009, The Great Misdirect. While it's not an unanimous vote for album of the year, the album does radiate excellence in so many levels and shows a more matured product from the band known as BTBAM. Trying to capitalize on experimental aspects on the new album they seem to have left some fans in the dust while showing moments of pure superiority in songwriting, thus leaving The Great Misdirect as an album that can't be completely grasped by listening only once. Instead you must find time to play it multiple instances to really capture the trust essence of what the band was going for. Most of us here at DecoyMusic.com have loved this band from the beginning and continue to appreciate the direction they are going. While it may not top Colors, it is still an amazing album in it's own right.

Yeah, it's pretty rad. Too bad the album isn't as rad as the picture.

Drummer should really be levitating a bass drum over his head.
