Orlando, FL's Broadway are ready to take their step into the spotlight with their debut lp Kingdoms out July 7th on Uprising Records. Their catchy and infectious blend of rock, screamo and hardcore will have fans of Chiodos, A Skylit Drive, and Scary Kids Scaring Kids extremely happy. Florida seems to be the hotbed for new talent the past few years and there's no reason Broadway shouldn't be able to take advantage of that as well. They just posted a new track on their myspace "We Are Paramount" and "You Gotta Love That Southern Charm" is equally as catchy and memorable. The album features guest appearances from Jonny Craig (Emarosa) and Craig Owens (Chiodos).

Oh, they look promising.

Now, THIS band is really comparable with chiodos, a skylit drive and all the mentioned above. And even if Dance Gavin Dance and Emarosa are considered in the same genre... they are completely different music, I don't know if i make any sense here. Definately not my type of band, but ok sound.

I get what you're saying man. I'm all about trying to get the word out on bands. Obviously this genre of music brings a crowd ya know. Whether Broadway is riding the "gravy-train" or not, at least they are playing decent enough music and drawing kids. I just hate all this garbage. Nothing about the style of music they play appeals to me.

These vocals are too high-pitched even for me. They're not quite as bad as Jags from A Skylit Drive, but they're up there. And the screamer is meh.
But I really wanna hear the Johnny Craig song.
