Bio
The Dollyrots are one girl and two boys. They're a punk rock band but their CDs are very pop. Rah rah rah. Kelly is sugar sweet but mischevious and might sucker punch you if you're dumb enough to try her patience. Which she has a lot of, if she hasn't been visiting her friends Jack, Jim or Jameson. She likes to do girl things like grow plants and sew up her t-shirts and crochet and make strawberry cakes (you can get your very own Kelly-made scarf at her Etsy Store!!) But, she also likes to play her basses til they are sprinkled with blood and drives soo fast she's not allowed behind the wheel but can often be found playing Words With Friends on her Iphone instead. She likes to get carsick reading and send postcards from the road so send her your address (to kelly@dollyrots.com) or favorite book (really! 636 Broadway, NY, NY 10012). Please don't send it if you don't want The Dollyrots knocking on your door next tour looking for a floor and a shower. Otherwise, they will stay in one of many swanky hotels across the nation they frequently trash with burrito wrappers. The Dollyrots have a keen album BECAUSE I'M AWESOME out on Blackheart Records and a previous record, EAT MY HEART OUT, originally released through Lookout Records and just reissued with additional B-sides from the original sessions. "Because I'm Awesome" was voted Coolest Song In the World 2007 on Little Steven's Underground Garage and several tracks were featured in TV/films such as "Reaper", "Greek", "Ugly Betty", "Sisterhood Of The Traveling Pants 2", and "Bring It On - Fight To The Finish". The Dollyrots are currently filming scenes for an appearance in the upcoming movie "Girl Trash! All Night Long", and the band is also in studio putting finishing touches on their 3rd full-length to be released by Blackheart Records in mid 2010. A single from LP3, "California Beach Boy", was just released on 7" vinyl alonside an appearance on "The Price Is Right". The band just finished a Spring tour with Bowling For Soup, a Summer North American tour with Buzzcocks, and is headed to the UK with Bowling For Soup in Fall 2010.
