Bio

Handsome Boy Modeling School is a teaming of quirky super-producers Prince Paul (best-known for his work with De la Soul and Stetsasonic) and Dan "The Automator" Nakamura (Gorillaz). Taking their name from an episode of the cult Chris Elliott sitcom Get a Life (which was sampled several times on their debut album), Paul and Dan adopted the über-stylish alter egos of Chest Rockwell and Nathaniel Merriweather, respectively.

Since the release of So How's You're Girl? in 1999 - fans of Chest & Nathaniel aka Handsome Boy Modeling School, have been asking for more. Finally, 5 long years later, their wish has come true. Selling over 150,000 copies with little radio/video airplay, "So How's Your Girl?" became the buzz/hot/cool record to have, fueled by extensive word of mouth. With guests like Mike D of the Beastie Boys, Moloko, Grand Puba, Cibo Matto, Money Mark and a slew of others, Handsome Boy Modeling School left fans wanting more. Now with a new crop of special guests, Chest & Nathaniel have once again made the Handsome Boy Modeling School the place to enroll this winter.
