Black Feather is Harald Frøland, based in Oslo, Norway. He used to play guitar in the 10-piece group Jaga Jazzist, but eventually found it necessary to focus on his own music. So, in this project most of the instruments are played by Harald, but there are also some valuable contributions from like-minded friends. The music is a clash of organic rock and electronic elements, with a pop sensibility. The result is one hell of a progressive, textural jigsaw puzzle; simultaneously intriguing and stunning. Experimental, yet tangible, Black Feather combines spacious, vast sonic landscapes with a down-to-earth, more intimate ambience.
