Bio
Formed as Follow Through, Will, Justin and Matt's Federal Way, Washington-based high school band made its live debut at Tacoma's Club Impact in March of 2003. That summer, Greg had stepped into the four-string slot after original bassist Tyler departed. Last autumn, as the group's members attended college nearby, they worked to visualize and record Fading Days with the help of co-founding drummer Blake Evans - who helped pen two of the songs here. With the Fading Days session finalized, the group balanced studies with local shows, self-promotion and the hunt for a record label to call home. The band was met with a setback when Evans opted out of the fold late in the year (only to be replaced by a savage kitman and Tennessee transplant known only as Dango) but somehow this sturdy outfit inked with Hopeless Records as 2004 got underway. Re-christened Amber Pacific due to legal reasons, the quintet has had the kind of anxious and exciting year that most bands can only dream about.
