A Loss for Words (also known as AL4W for short) is an American pop-punk band from Abington, Massachusetts.
They recorded their album The Kids Can't Lose
at Playwork Productions (Valencia, Four Year Strong) in Pennsylvania.
To support this album, they have toured extensively in the United States
as well as in Canada, Japan, Russia, western Europe and the UK with Four Year Strong, Set Your Goals, and Energy, among other bands.
Won Phoenix Magazine's All Ages Band of the year over Boys Like Girls.
They recently released an album of covers called Motown Classics, and closed out 2010 touring with The Wonder Years and Veara.
On February 10, 2011, they announced on Rise Record's YouTube account that they have signed with Rise Records/Velocity Records.
On
October 24, 2011, A loss For Words released their second full-length LP
titled "No Sanctuary." The album so far has generated many positive
reviews.
